1.
RESERVING EQUIPMENT:
-
Quotes and proposals do not guarantee availability of rental equipment.
- Rental
items will be reserved only upon receipt of a signed rental contract and a 50%
NON- REFUNDABLE deposit (cash, check, credit card or approved credit) of the
quoted proposal fee.
2. RENTAL TIME:
- All rental
items must be returned on the predetermined date after your event.
- Items not returned on predetermined date are
considered lost or damaged and will be charged at replacement cost.
3.
WEEK OF:
- Final payment will be
due.
- No orders will be scheduled for
delivery until full payment is received, except with pre-approved credit.
- Grand Events and Party Rental will strive to
meet any last minute requests.
4.
PHYSICAL CONDITION OF RENTAL ITEMS:
- You acknowledge that you will examine all rental items prior to acceptance and
affirm the items are in good condition.
- It is your
responsibility to return the items to Grand Events and Party Rental in the same
condition, except for ordinary wear and tear.
5.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR EQUIPMENT:
- From the time the rental items are accepted to the time they are returned to
Grand Events and Party Rental, you are responsible for them.
- You will be
provided instruction on the proper manner of using any rental items.
- If any item is lost, stolen, or damaged, under any circumstances while
rented, regardless of fault, you are responsible for all charges.
6.
SITE PREPARATION:

If delivery is needed, please prepare your site (i.e. lawns mowed, vehicles out
of the way, etc.)
- You are responsible to provide Grand Events and Party Rental
with markings on the ground of the existence of any underground utilities (i.e.
phone or gas lines, septic systems, etc.), or condition that may interfere with
the ability to stake and/ or anchor equipment.
- You assume all responsibility
for all damage to underground equipment or items in absence of such markings.
7.
DELIVERY/SETUP:
-
To provide efficient, dependable delivery and set up service to all our
customers, 24 to 48 hours notice of any change is generally required.
- Grand Events will do its best to honor your delivery requests; however
delays and changes in the schedule are sometimes unavoidable.
- We try to communicate any scheduling changes
as they occur.
8.
DELIVERY/PICKUP FEES:
- All fees are based on tailgate delivery during our normal business hours.
- Additional delivery and labor charges may occur for any second floor delivery
or excessive distance between truck and desired location.
- After hours
deliveries (those deliveries/pickups which must take place before or after
normal business hours) are possible.
9.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
- Saturday morning delivery/pickup service is
available within our normal business hours for normal delivery/pickup
fees.
- Table and chair setup, linen
placement or china placement is available.
Please contact Grand Events and Party Rental for current rates.
- Saturday evening or Sunday delivery/pickup
services are available and would be charged an Afterhours Fee.
10.
CLEANUP/EXPECTATIONS WHEN RETURNING ITEM(S):
- All floral arrangements, trash, and decorations of
any kind should be removed from rental items.
- If rental items are being picked up, tables and chairs should be stacked
as delivered.
- All dishes, glassware and
cooking equipment should be returned to its proper
rack or container and assembled at a single location for pickup.
- Linens should also be shaken out and
assembled at a single location for pickup.
11.
WEATHER/TENTS
- Tents are temporary structures and do not
provide safety or cover when subject to high winds, electrical storms, and
heavy rains.
- If there is any doubt as to the severity of a storm, you should
evacuate the tent immediately and seek the shelter of a permanent building.
- Regarding tents only, Grand Events and Party
Rental does have a “Rain Plan Policy”.
This policy would require the client to apply 50% nonrefundable deposit
of the cost of the tent at the time of reservation.
- Due to the fact it would be considered “Rain
Plan”, Grand Events and Party Rental would require you to determine if the tent
is desired or not within three (3) days of the event.
- If the tent IS desired, the client would pay
the remaining balance and Grand Events and Party Rental would continue with
delivery/setup.
- If the client does NOT desire the tent, they would
forfeit 50% deposit due to the fact Grand Events and Party Rental had been
holding this tent for the client’s event.
12.
DAMAGE WAIVER:
- Insurance waiver, or damage waiver, protects
the client from replacing any items that were accidentally damaged during
his/her rental period.
- Damage waiver is an option to you, however if you
choose to decline damage waiver you are be responsible for any rental item that
has broken or is missing after your event.
- If you choose to accept the damage waiver, Grand Events and Party Rental
agree to modify the terms of this contract and relieve you of liability for
accidental damage to the rented items.
- Grand Event and Party Rental excludes from the waiver any loss or damage
due to theft, burglary, collision, misuse or abuse, intentional damage,
mysterious disappearance, or any loss due to your failure to care for the items.
- If any loss tends to indicate a
crime may have been committed, you must file a report to the proper law
enforcement authorities and furnish Grand Events and Party Rental with a copy.
Damage Waiver is not refundable
13.
INSURANCE:
- Grand
Events shall be named as an additional insured on any and all insurance
policies obtained by you with regard to the rental items.
